Past and present

People often ask me if I have any photos from my younger years, but unfortunately, I don’t. When my mom passed away, my ex-wife took all the photos, and she and my oldest daughter never provided any copies, just empty promises! The pictures of my parents are ones I found on my niece’s Facebook page. Sadly, my own children know very little about my personal life outside of my relationship with them, as I was always just a weekend dad. And because of their ignorance they think all my photos, books, talents, and business ventures are fake, especially my son. And even when I surprised him to see the Elvira Show at Knott's Berry Farm, he still doesn't believe me. The dummy didn't even question why I would take a young kid to see an Elvira show. Yep! He's no Sherlock Holmes. LOL! The other photos I have on display were given to me by friends or taken by me.

Ok, I need to explain this photo. In short, I cheated on Barbara with Cassandra (aka Elvira) when Cassandra lived in Venice Beach. Shortly after Barbara's son passed away, when Barbara and I were dating, she became distant. I wasn't sure if we were still in a relationship because she never returned my calls. Recently, an anonymous person sent me this photo, which appears to have been taken around the time I was accused of dating both of them, based on the age in the picture. The message that accompanied the photo read, "You sneaky devil." It's clear from this that they met and put together the obvious revelation that I was dating both of them at the same time. Or was I?

This is my Mother, "Portuguese." I think I was 12 years old when she made me take this photo. And whenever she bought a new dress, she would pull out the old color Polaroid, and I became the reluctant photographer. I get a real kick out of the Bozo hair-do. Sorry mom! Although she was a beautiful Lady

This is my Dad, "Italian Sicilian." I think he was in his early teens in this photo. I say this because his nose is straight in this picture. And I remember seeing a photo of him with a broken nose from his boxing days in his late twenties. Unfortunately, I only met him 3 or 4 times in my lifetime. So, having this photo is a treasure. I wish I could have spent time with him. Love you, Dad.

WOW! I just received this photo today, June 7th 2025. I was around 20 years old playing guitar with Bob Delgado, I think this was at a College event somewhere in Los Angeles. I Just made contact with Bob after 40 years and he remembered me and replied with this photo. Thank you Bob for being an awesome bass player and a musician friend. You left an indelible impression in my life and in my music adventure and I thank you. You rock! 👍

March 2026, I'm 75 years old and getting older by the minute. Well! I still have my hair. Although very thin, it has gone from black to a dirty grey. Yikes!
